We finished tracking all of the instruments and pieces of the album last night. It's now up to us to mix the damn thing down. We're frightened and excited. We've kind of put pressure on ourselves to finish this all by a certain time. Our release show will be June 2 at the Sidebar in Balitmore. We hope we can get everything (mixing, mastering, pressing, merch, rehearsals) done by then.

We're going to try to get some stuff mixed down soon and we'll probably make something available online before it's even mastered. Maybe. We'll see.

We began recording the 14 or so songs that will be The Fiction Ploy last night. Rob got most of his guitar stuff done, and Marc kicked ass as usual, so he's done. It was a relatively productive night that consisted of Brooks and Jim going to Aldi (and then to Food Lion when Aldi didn't have what we wanted), a huge brush fire right next to a townhouse community, pizza from a place we've never tried before that was pretty good, and way too many Starbursts. We begin round two tonight, and we're obviously excited.

P.S. Brooks + microphone in the bathroom = FUN FUN FUN.

We just got home from an absolutely wonderful little tour with Mike of Endless Mike and the Beagle Club. Thanks to everyone we met and everyone who saw us play and everyone who helped us out in any way while we made our short trek across the Midwest.

We're in the middle of writing more songs, some of which will possibly end up on our upcoming full-length, which will be recorded and released as soon as we can get around to it. We've also been playing a handful of acoustic shows here and there and we've got more coming up in the next few months. Check out the shows page for more info.

We've got a pretty nice non-acoustic show coming up on February 3 at the Sidebar in Baltimore with A Study In Her, Page France and The Tall Grass. Come check it out if you're able. And willing.
